Legend Transformation Leadership Company Ltd (NZBN 9429051250096), trading as Legend TLC ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through legendtlc.co.nz (the "Site"), how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy.

Information we collect

We collect personal information you give us directly, and some information collected automatically.

Directly from you:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and the content of your message, when you get in touch through the Site.

  • Newsletter signup: your name and email address, if you choose to subscribe.

Automatically, as you browse:

  • Standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site, collected through Squarespace's built-in analytics.

  • Where enabled, similar data collected through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (see Cookies and tracking below).

We do not collect payment information through this Site.

How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • respond to your enquiries and messages;

  • send newsletter updates to subscribers, where you've opted in;

  • understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it; and

  • meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your information to make any automated decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Squarespace platform cookies, needed for the Site to function and to provide built-in analytics.

  • Google Analytics, to understand aggregate visitor behaviour (planned).

  • Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors arrive from Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram) and measure the effectiveness of any Meta advertising (planned).

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect how parts of the Site work. Where required, we will ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Who we share your information with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business, including:

  • Squarespace (website hosting and, currently, newsletter delivery);

  • MailerLite (once our newsletter migrates to this provider);

  • Google (analytics); and

  • Meta (advertising measurement).

Some of these providers store or process information on servers located outside New Zealand (for example, in the United States). Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive a comparable standard of protection, as required under the Privacy Act 2020.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Storage and security

We store personal information using our service providers' secure systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask us:

  • what personal information we hold about you; and

  • to correct that information if it's wrong.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will usually respond within 20 working days.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or on 0800 803 909.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly.
